Donovan Group Welcomes Derrick Docket!
As we continue to expand our efforts with schools, districts, and educational organizations across the country, we are thrilled to add another talented and highly experienced school communication professional to our team!
As a communication strategist, Derrick Docket will help public schools and districts tell their stories through content creation, graphic design, branding, messaging, communication planning, video production, marketing, and more.
Before joining the Donovan Group, Derrick was director of marketing for The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum. Prior to that, he was the chief communications officer and director of marketing for the Wentzville School District in Missouri.
During his time with the Wentzville School District, Derrick created and launched an advertising and sponsorship program that partnered with local businesses to support student-centered activities and athletic programs. He also led a logo and brand refresh during a district strategic planning process and designed new logos and branding for new schools.
Additionally, Derrick provided photo and video support, documenting various events across the district’s schools.
Earlier in his career, Derrick oversaw and produced digital social media, graphic design, live video streaming, and other digital content for the NCAA Division I Missouri Valley Conference. He also has experience working with advertising and direct marketing agencies.
Derrick holds a bachelor’s degree in art and design from Missouri State University. We are incredibly excited to welcome him to the Donovan Group team!
