Communicating with Everyone is Communicating with No One
As an educational leader, you have a lot of people looking to you for information. But when you communicate, do you consider who exactly your audience is?
If your intention is to communicate with all your audiences at the same time-to communicate with everyone–it is often the case that you are communicating with no one.
Consider this: Engaging staff requires a much different way of communicating than engaging parents. And engaging parents is much different than engaging non-parents.
Here is a tip: Take time to consider each of your audiences and always consider the best ways to connect with your stakeholders every time you communicate.
