Enrollment Now Open for Communications Academy: The Roadmap to Success
The Donovan Group is pleased to announce that enrollment is now open for the fourth year of the Communications Academy: The Roadmap to Success, a professional learning program designed for school superintendents, district leaders, and communication professionals seeking to strengthen their communication and engagement strategies.
The academy combines practical guidance, expert insight, and flexible learning opportunities to help participants build confidence and capacity in school communications. This year's program features nine live, expert-led sessions, a new one-on-one strategy consultation, and full on-demand access to all course materials through our online learning platform.
Nine Concise Sessions Held Live and Recorded
The 2026-27 academy begins on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with live sessions held on nine Wednesdays throughout the school year from September through April. Sessions begin at 1:00 p.m. CST and typically run 30 to 45 minutes, depending on discussion and participant questions. All sessions are recorded and made available online, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and join the program at any time during the year.
Refreshed Content. Stronger Learning Experience.
This year's curriculum has been refreshed and restructured based on feedback from previous participants. Topics are intentionally sequenced to guide learners through a progressive learning experience—starting with foundational communication principles and advancing to practical strategies that can be immediately applied in school districts and organizations.
Sessions are led by members of the Donovan Group team alongside invited experts and experienced education leaders who bring real-world examples, practical tools, and proven strategies to each discussion.
New This Year: One-On-One Strategy Call
A new feature of the academy is a one-on-one strategy session with a Donovan Group partner. Participants can schedule a personalized consultation to discuss their district's communication priorities, challenges, and opportunities, and receive practical, actionable guidance tailored to their unique needs.
